1. Who is responsible for your data

This website (samusenps.ai, the "Site") is operated by samusenps ("I", "me", "my"). The Site is a personal site that describes me and provides ways to contact me. I am the controller responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with the Site, within the meaning of applicable data protection law (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"), where it applies.

2. What this Site does not do

  • No accounts, registration, or contact forms. The Site collects nothing from you directly.
  • No advertising, ad networks, marketing pixels, or tracking services operated by me.
  • The Site itself sets no cookies and uses no client-side storage for tracking purposes.
  • No sale, rental, or sharing of personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
  • No profiling, automated decision-making, or building of user profiles.
  • No external web font services — the Site renders entirely with fonts already installed on your device.

3. Data processed when you visit

3.1 Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)

The Site is delivered through the Cloudflare, Inc. content-delivery network (Cloudflare Pages). When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes standard request data — including your IP address, the time of the request, the requested resource, the referring URL, and basic browser and device information (user agent) — in order to deliver the Site, secure it against abuse, and keep it available. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy and its terms of service.

3.2 Web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

The Site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. According to Cloudflare's published practices:

  • It uses no client-side state — no cookies and no local storage — to collect usage metrics.
  • It does not "fingerprint" individuals via IP address, user agent string, or any other data.
  • The source IP address is discarded at the nearest Cloudflare data center and is not stored in analytics databases or logs.
  • Only aggregate statistics are produced (page views, referrers, approximate geographic region, browser and device type) that cannot identify individual visitors.

I process this data on the basis of my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding how the Site is used so that it can be improved. Because no cookies or fingerprinting are involved, this processing does not require your consent. You may object at any time by blocking the analytics script through your browser settings or an extension.

3.3 Theme preference (device-local only)

If you choose a theme in the Site's menu, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device so it persists between visits. This value never leaves your device, is not transmitted to me or to any third party, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser data.

4. Third-party content: social media previews (contact page only)

The contact page (/contact) contains a carousel that displays recent public posts from the following platforms: Mastodon, Bluesky, Tumblr, Threads, Reddit, and X.

  • A preview is loaded only when you scroll the carousel into view.
  • When a preview loads, your browser communicates directly with that platform's servers to retrieve the post content and its embed script. The platform may process your IP address and set cookies or other storage in accordance with its own privacy policy (Mastodon: instance policy; Bluesky: policy; Tumblr: policy; Threads/Meta: policy; Reddit: policy; X: policy).
  • I do not control, and am not a party to, the data processing these platforms perform. If you do not want your browser to communicate with any of these platforms, do not visit the contact page or block their domains in your browser.
  • The contact page may also establish preliminary network connections to github.com and huggingface.co for performance reasons; no content is currently retrieved from them.

5. When you email me

If you send an email to contact@samusenps.ai, the mailbox is operated by Tuta GmbH (Tuta, Germany). Your emails are end-to-end encrypted under Tuta's system; Tuta processes them in accordance with its privacy policy and applicable German and EU data protection law. I process the content of your messages solely to respond to your inquiry or provide assistance, on the basis of my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to direct inquiries. Messages are kept in the mailbox until deleted; you may request deletion at any time by emailing me.

6. International data transfers

  • Tuta GmbH is established in Germany and stores data on its own servers in Germany. No transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA) occurs for email processing.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. is established in the United States. Where personal data (such as request data described above) is transferred to or processed in the United States, that transfer relies on appropriate safeguards, including Cloudflare's Standard Contractual Clauses and its certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. 7. How long data is kept

  • Analytics: source IP addresses are not stored; aggregate statistics are retained in accordance with Cloudflare's retention schedule.
  • Theme preference: until you clear it from your browser (it never leaves your device).
  • Emails to me: until I delete them or you request deletion.

8. Your rights

To the extent applicable law (including the GDPR) grants them, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data I process about you;
  • rectification of inaccurate data;
  • erasure ("right to be forgotten");
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest, including the analytics described in section 3.2; and
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on your consent.

To exercise these rights, email contact@samusenps.ai with a clear description of your request. I will respond without undue delay and in any event within one month. Independently of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly process personal data of children in connection with the Site.

10. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time (for example, if the services used by the Site change). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
